Ellerhold Maschinenfabrik GmbH is specialized in the development, design and manufacture of specialized machines for high-performance postpress processing for industrial use. Special purpose machines with passion

Our main claim is the continuous improvement and optimization of existing work processes. Our machines are developed and tested in-house and than used in Ellerhold print production. As a result, we are also the toughest critics of our products.

Innovation since 2012

It all started with the groundbreaking development of our MLM_2600_NG. This 4/4-color digital printing press, the only one of its kind in the world, implements the complete Mega-Light production inline in just a few minutes. The individual work steps, such as double-sided printing, laminating, edge trimming, attaching "clip tape", edge reinforcement with adhesive tape, attaching a label ("Bero-Marke") and the cross-section for separating the Mega-Lights - all in one machine run.

Depending on requirements, the MLM_2600_NG manufactures ready-to-use Mega-Lights, 18/1-StretchPoster, 18/1 large format posters, 8/1 StretchPosters for column or City-Light column posters.

Own ideas, own solutions

Ellerhold has been working on glue-free billboard solutions since 2003. The result was the invention of the StretchBoard, which is constantly being improved and adapted to market conditions.

By means of a special tensioning mechanism, the one-piece posters are stretched instead of glued into the StretchBoard. This makes regular exchanges of posters easy to handle. In addition the StretchPosters can withstand the most difficult weather conditions: heat, rain or wind cannot harm them.

Inline Cutting Machine

Often, the machines available on the market do not match one's own needs. This was also the case at Ellerhold print shop. They needed a more stable finishing system for digital printing. Thanks to the experience gained from building our eight in-house digital presses with inline finishing, we developed the Poster-Cutter 2050.

The requirements for the machine were: Industrial suitability with high running performance and stability, as well as reducing resources in the printing process.
